August 2011 Entry #12 In Search of Adventure and Moments of Bliss: Maiden Voyage

Title: In Search of Adventure and Moments of Bliss: Maiden Voyage
Author: Lois Joy Hofmann
Trailer Creator: Alfred M. Williams

Blurb:
Every year, four times more adventurers climb Mt. Everest than complete a circumnavigation of the globe.
Lois and Günter Hofmann achieved their eight-year, 34,000 mile nautical triumph after turning 60 years old.
They set off in search of adventure and those rare Moments of Bliss, so difficult to find on land. They succeeded—and found so much more!
Join them aboard their 43-foot Catana catamaran, Pacific Bliss, as they sail from France to San Diego on the first voyage of their exciting and amazing circumnavigation.

  1. Great trailer Lois. Did you sail for 8 years? That's what it sounded like. What amazing adventures and stories you must have.

  5. Yes,Sonia, we sailed for eight years, but not 100% of the time, we came back to San Diego to see our children and grandchildren and also to wait out hurricane and cyclone seasons.
